Over six years, Catanese has curated and organized over a dozen contemporary art exhibitions exploring nature and environmental topics for the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education’s environmental art program. Indoor gallery shows and temporary outdoor exhibitions span a range of subject matter, from water, climate change, moss and fungi, and biodiversity.  Catanese has also facilitated longer-term artist-led landscape interventions that seek to prevent or remediate environmental damage through the LandLab residency.
