SEWER

A dance work responding to a musical prompt

Sewer was prompted by Mixed Drinks an evening of new dance and music pairings. Thirty local composers/sound artists each submitted two-minute recordings. These were randomly paired with thirty local choreographers, who received the music 24 hours before the performance. Each sound work was played continuously and performed by the dancers in a waterfall style, creating an hour-long program.
